  • So I’m flipping channels and see Marist vs Siena and our old player A Dozic is a jr playing for Marist.  I wonder if he could have or would have helped us had he stayed.

  • If you are watching the game and still having to ask that question then the most likely answer is no.

  • He went 3-14 and 0-6 from three on the game. Sorry but, Bennett is much more athletic than him.....

Hmmm maybe that’s true but one of them is playing and contributing and on of them is suffering from his second broken foot in about 6-7 month and when “healthy” was only in good enough shape athletically to play for 4-5 minutes at a time

If you watched him on the floor very much when he was here, you would know that answer quickly. There is a reason that he was told his minutes would be VERY limited here if he stayed.

  • Is Sustic a mirror image of Dosic, albeit a bit taller?

No. Dozic was lazy. Sustic works as hard as anyone we have. He just seems to play confused. Turns his man the wrong way, guards the wrong shoulder,
Ante can shoot well and handles the ball ok as well.

No, I didn't watch the game.  I saw about 30 seconds of him smartass.

Also, if you haven't noticed we have been kind of in a scramble for bigs over the last few years.  So, I thought legit to wonder if a guy could have developed under DD as he was only a freshman here.

A lot of coaching staffs are able to identify talent before they sign them or bring them in, a lot of staffs are able to develop players after they bring them in.  I guess neither of those things are our staffs thing.

I wasn't being a smart ass so reach up there and dig those panties out of the wad you put them in.

You said you were flipping through the channels and saw this, which indicates you watched at least part of the game. If he isn't completely dominating everyone at Marist then he can't play here. So once again, if you watched him and had to ask the question then the answer is easily NO.

  • Here's  a link to his college stats--some players have bad games so I guess the way you would find out would be to look at his career stats. They are better than the bad game posted but still look weak.

thanks Yogi.  I really wasn't that curious about him in the first place, just saw him quickly just thought I'd give an fyi for those on the Board that may be curious where a former player was and made the mistake of wondering out loud.

  • I sometimes wonder what has happened to some players. I wish I would have been home to watch a little of this game. I always like watching schools like that.

  • Watching Davidson play right now. Heard the name Luke Frampton. I know his brother Noah was at Marshall for a year or two. If I heard correctly, Luke is leading the A-10 in three pointers made with 52.

Believe Davidson has another West Virginia Danny was possibly recruiting.  From Poca, I believe, Cuffy, Cunliff, or something like that.  Was a pretty good HS player, IIRC.

I believe the Davidson player you’re thinking of is Luke Frampton.

    Elijah Cuffee plays for Liberty.

Elijah Cuffee is at Radford and played HS BB at Poca with Frampton.

Cuffee signed with Liberty and is listed on their roster. Did he transfer recently?

No.  He's still listed as a starter on their roster.
