Crawford was jerked around all year and held to a different standard and IMO was our best athlete.  If Danny is really coming back, then why in the He$$ would he even consider coming back.  Wish Cam the best....

Wish him and all transfers the best. Cam is athletic yes, and made some nice shots and plays, but the basketball IQ almost always seemed to be lacking when we needed it most - which was a lot. Just MHO.

Can't criticize a player's basketball IQ, IMO, without commenting first on that of the Head Coach!  Pretty clear, again IMO, that after a decade of "Hillbilly Ball", D'Antoni's basketball IQ as to quality and successful coaching of the College Game in the third decade of the 21st Century is itself pretty DAMN LOW!!

Interesting that two first year players in the program are leaving. I wonder if they realize they were in a train wreck with Dan who has no real coaching ability? Maybe they didn't want to play on a losing team?

With Dan's recruiting ability or lack of recruiting ability, we are up the creek. I would think Dan would leave if he had any smarts or pride. I wish Marshall would force Dan to play four or give road games against power programs, he needs to be made to UK  again 118-82. It would serve him right.

Dan finished up tied 10 in the SBC with a .389 winning percentage. Think about how bad the SBC is and we only won .389 in the league. .394 overall winning percentage. But, but it is all about March.

It's because Dantoni has him chasing around wings on the perimeter. Think when the herd was the best... PENAVA. Obina has to play the same role he did and play the 5.

Crawford showed promise, but at times he played like he was still in high school and wanted to take all of the shots.  He would be better off transferring down a level where he could shoot until his heart was content.

When it comes to shooting all the time, I really don't see any difference between Crawford and Andrew Taylor. Crawford went into D'Antoni's doghouse while Taylor was left to do whatever he wanted with no repercussions. I think with the right coach, Crawford could have been a solid player.

Andrew Taylor is a better player than Crawford.  Andrew could handle the ball better.  He shot better and passed better.  Yes, Andrew got out of control his last season with the Herd, but before that, he played within the system and he was a very effective player.  The coach at Indiana State has his team in the NCAA tournament this year, so maybe Crawford had the right coach, but he didn't want harness in his game?

I wish Cam good luck. I remember when we sign him the Danites were excited about adding him to program. Some of us were skeptical about him. I seem to remember some of Dan's supporters saying that Toussaint had an offer from Michigan State.

So Danny recruited a player he knew was flawed (as evidenced by the fact he could barely get on the floor on a mediocre Indiana State team), put him in the doghouse because of his flaws, did nothing in the way of developing or correcting him, and now he's gone.  Bang up job all around.
