I for one along with several others would like to start something for the UCF game. Since it is on ESPN2, lets push the effort for everyone to wear one of the WE ARE.......MARSHALL t-shirts to the game. By doing this we bring attention from the national audience to Marshall and to the movie in general. I am preparing to contact the HD about this campaign and if we could all spread the word we can make this work. If you guys think it is a good idea lets call it the WE ARE campaign. I am sure that in the next 3 weeks we can get media attention and get this thing going for interview on ESPN2. What do you say? If you are for it, let us know! We owe it to Warner Bros, and to our lost to make sure every soul knows the story. Are you in? WE ARE.......

The thread on HN is mentioning white because it stands out better on television. I tend to agree and would like to see white.

Gee, I wonder if it would be in any large, multinational corporation's best interest to provide MU with 30K white shirts with the name of an upcoming movie on the front.

The Big Green already has a WE are Marshall T-Shirt.

I have one. And it's kelly green. Instead of re-inventing the wheel, why not just contact the Big Green?

I know the Big Green is running low on those shirts, at least in XL.

I've also seen them without the words Big Green. Saw them Sat. We were wondering where people got them. I am a Marshall shop-a-holic and I hadn't seen them anywhere.

I gave my Big Green shirt away to get someone to up their contribution. :) It worked!

Great idea. I would also be happy to just see folks wear green, white or grey. It puzzles on why people wear red, pink, yeller or blew to MU games.

Thanks guys for the support, I am waiting to get a return call from the HD about the idea and maybe placing an ad in the sports section to help push the idea. I really think this is going to be a huge hit we just need to keep spreading the word. GO HERD

This project is on a roll guys and gals......I do know that everyone seems to be leaning toward going ALL WHITE for the UCF game, in which I agree is the most impressive. Hometown Sportwear is selling the shirts (at least last week) Buy one get one free.....makes the price about $7 a piece.

Wolf, could we maybe get a sticky up top to get the campaign rolling?

I gotcha, although that scheme was started by someone with a whole lot more pull at MU than I do my friend.

The White WE ARE campaign is building some steam.....We are trying to get in touch with WB as we speak.

I went up to Hometown Sportswear today and brought them a flyer and talked about the shirts. Super nice guys....First, they are promoting the White Out UCF on their sign out by RT. 60 starting tomm. Second, they said they were firing up the presses to pump out a huge bunch of these shirts. Even showed me a full metal rack that was designated just for the White WE ARE shirts. Great guys, great shirt, only 12.99. I dont think they will mind if they would sell 20,000 of those things...
