Ok, I laughed at the "he won't be doing anything next year" part.  I actually hope he finds someone can take raw tangibles and armstrength and turn him into the total package.  It will be a monumental challenge, but not impossible, if he's willing to put in the work which is a big ???

He has the physical attributes the pros love........someone will give him a chance to develop.

Hits hurt him too much.  Nfl has too much qb hitting.  Nfl needs better quality backup qbs.  He should aim for starter but better suited for backup.

While I was one who thought another year would be beneficial, I can certainly understand his decision.  What I don't understand is the arm chair pro scouts on this site.  I wish Chase the best and hope his dream comes true.  The true scouts and evaluators of potential and talent will provide each of us what they think of Chase as a football qb. over the next couple of months.  Lastly, why not hope that his dreams of playing in the NFL come true-isn't that what we hope for all of MU football players.
