Posting this to the smack board simply b/c its bound to get here eventually.

Obviously, I've some down time, and so I posed the question to myself, "How could this thing be modified to not be such a haphazard joke every year?"

This is one person's answer to that question, nothing more, nothing less.

Can't really find anything myself that speaks to the NM Bowl ratings just yet, but you'd like to think that this says something about our name recognition nationally, at least.

But the overall trend seems irrefutable. This haphazard shrug-of-the-shoulders bowl season has run its course. It needs some new breath in the form of structure and, at least some, drama.
