It will stat good ...... but it was easy today just stop the run.  If offense was explosive and our D is legit we win the CUSA easily.

In all honesty I would love to know how good our defense was. But how will we know? Nobody in this league has an offense. And the only team we played that did and seemed to come out sleep walking against us, was NC St, and they scored 37. I wish there was someone in this league that could give us a gauge. But there's not. Maybe we will luck out and get a quality team in a bowl game that will test us. But we never do get a decent bowl team. Hopefully this will be the year.

After last years Dumpster Fire smelly season, I said I would be OK with 7-5. We're now 5-1.

I am greedy, now I want to see 9-3 or 10-2. We are who we are, we play who we play. I am a Marshall Fan who loves winning.

Suffered though many seasons until Sonny Randle, Jim Donnan & Coach Pruett made us a real FB school.

I like being 5-1!!! I choose to enjoy the wins with hope the offense finds their mojo.

Now comes the hard rough games. I really hope the offense plays like they did with quick start at Cincinnati.

No I am being serious. I would love to see how good or D is. They are the ones that have carried us all year. I think the D is really good and would love to know just how good. The offense is the problem with this team. Very irratic and inconsistent. If the offense could play at a high level this would be a solid team. I just HATE this conference and it never tests you. Like I said, hopefully we can get matched up against a quality opponent that can get the bloods flowing in a bowl game. I want to get excited, but it is hard playing Charlotte and ODU that haven't even had a football program for a few short years. I just like playing a little more bigtime than what we are. I used to LOVE it and even traveled to some of the games. Hopefully I can get excited again some day.

Our QB needs to take faking from ODU’s 17 year old QB. He fooled me several times ours we know what he is doing before the ball is snapped. Telegraphs most plays.

You don't need to be tested to determine what you want to know.  D has held teams to a little better than their average scores.  Today pushed that to the good a bit.  A lot of the teams we played don't score against anyone, though, so it skews the numbers a bit.  FAU will be the biggest test of our defense, imo, and they can generate enough offense to matter.  We hold FAU below 21 and we can say they're pretty damn good.  As if we aren't already saying that.  They're running like 95 plays a game so we'll have to be crisp with substitutions and formations or we'll get overloaded.
