"Their strong suit is the pass rush and, for the most part over the past five games, our strong suit has been pass blocking, so we look forward to having the big matchup," Marshall center Levi Brown said. "It's our best against their best."

Old Dominion's strength in that area has been the collective work of an experienced defensive front. The unit works well together to swallow up the opposing quarterback.

"They are really, really good at what they do on the outside, which is make the quarterback step up into their D-tackles," Brown said.

Bust Davis or other Herd back loose for a couple of very long runs early on will be the best way to slow down this "vaunted" pass rush, IMO.  Really curious as to whether they even laid a hand on Virginia Tech's QB in their game down in Blacksburg!
