  • (J/K... not surprised at all, actually.)

Edit: Take that back... had overlooked the 3 comments made under tnherd's post. Clearly, my cynicism was terribly misplaced.

  • I don't blame the coaching in this case. 2 PI (one obvious, the other I could see why the ref called it) on 3rd & longs killed the herd.
In memory of Dr Daniel P Babb who taught so much to so many.

  • Penalty margin was 11 us, 2 them. That's hard to overcome - coaching, talent or whatever.

V true. And it was well into the 4th before NC State was flagged for anything. I still do t see how that happened.

  • i could be wrong but from my TV perspective and with the benefit of [instant] replay, i cannot conclude that we received any significant unfair play [penalty] calls any more than the other three opponents.

  • A penalty could be called on most plays if the refs choose to...they missed many holding calls in NC State and starting throwing laundry all over the field to the benefit of NC State.

The late pass interference call and the call that cancelled our kickoff rerun were game changers.

No way were there 11 penalties in MU and only 2 on NC State.
