The Bearcats' third straight road game will mark another stiff test. The perennially underrated Midshipmen have posted winning records in 13 of the last 14 years, and coach Ken Niumatalolo is among the best (79-42 record, in his 11th year at Navy).From here, the game appears to be a toss-up. It would be a huge road win should UC pull it off, and would set up a winnable non-league home game against Marshall on Sept. 30. Marshall (2-1) beat the visiting Miami RedHawks 31-26 in a season opener.
Does anyone know what section is the student section?
Man, that Miami Ohio collapse is hard to watch. If it happened to just about anyone else, I'd feel bad for them.

If you have any tailgating locations or suggestions please share them. From what I recall on our last few visits to UC actual space for tailgating is very limited. It all started in the opener against Austin Peay. The UC defense had to do everything in its power to ensure the offense would be in a position to pull out a win. Even though the Bearcats allowed more than 200 yards on the ground, they did complete their mission. Clements’ tackling ability played a major part in that.
UC allowed a program-record 569 yards rushing and lost 42-32 to Navy, on a sunny afternoon at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. The Midshipmen ran their patented triple-option to near perfection, led by quarterback Zach Abey with 128 yards rushing and two touchdowns."I know we didn't play well defensively, and it's embarrassing," UC coach Luke Fickell said. "But there's a lot of growth being made. We'll continue to grow, and we'll get better because of this."In 129 previous seasons of UC football, the record for most rushing yards allowed had been 539 by Northern Illinois in 1989. That was the final game of the inaugural Tim Murphy coaching season, a 56-3 Bearcats loss at Nippert Stadium.
The team already has three big games under its belt and a fourth one upcoming, but the players now have the time to catch their breath and study the Bearcats.“Any time with an open date, you have to concentrate on yourself and get better as a football team, so we will focus on that this week. We will continue to break down Cincinnati tape and get going on them on Monday night. But most of the work this week is on us getting better as a team.” Holliday said.
