  • was the fact there was movement on offense. Screens were actually being set allowing open shots and fluid movement in the lane caused some points in the paint. Add in the fact Kane would dribble drive and either get the ball to the open man or finish at the rim. There is no doubt Deandre is the leader and heart and soul of this team. With him in the lineup, it has been proven this team is infinitely better.

  • Yes!!  They ran one play all between the top of the key and the wing, with 2 passes, a cut, and a couple of screens that resulted in Scarver with a wide open 3 point shot that he drained.  I don't know who designed the play, or where plays like that have been during Herrion's tenure, but it was a thing of basketball beauty!!  I made the same comment at the game.  First time I have seen us play a half court set that resembled an offense.

  • There is no doubt we are better with Kane. But why is this the first game we have played like that this year? I will be convinced if we go to UTEP and win. If we win there, then i will see we might have turned the corner. I'm hoping, but not at all convinced over one game.

  • Good movement and ball movement in the first half.  Not so much in the second half against the zone.  Some lazy passes.  But overall a lot better than what we have witnessed this year.
