Sad to say but, keeping this DC reminds me of the decisions we made when Kayo was in charge. That is the reason we are in this difficult position.

Now, is the defense "good" - hell no.  But there's a reason that rice wanted to play this game in the afternoon - their kids are used to the TX heat - the Herd isnt.  Right now, it's 91 degrees in Houston; my guess is it was hotter this afternoon.  they were gassed too but still trying hard.

Saw these "fire the x coordinator" posts during Pruett's tenure.  He elected to teach vs. "fire".  Believe this d needs some time.

Ripon has been here three years and we  rank in the bottom 100 in total defense. He has had his time to teach. Just nut good at it.
