  • Moore looks bigger and is working hard.

If he doesn't start he will definitely be contributing.
    IT'S TAILGATING SEASON!

  • Unless his practice habits have changed, i will believe it when i see it.  He definitely has the skills to succeed.

  • He's got great hands but I'm not sure he likes to bang. Hope I am wrong.....
"I have heard people talk about the healing process - that sounds good - or closure," Dawson told the Los Angeles Times. "I don't know what closure is, but that area of my life will never be closed. But I feel alive again. I feel I can smile again."

  • I think he will get it done, the guy has great hands, contrary to the drop in the FW bowl.

  • I think Hiram will be fine. I wish that we had redshirted Hiram. Too much pressure for a local kid. All the talk from fans, family, and friends. A very big jump from hs to D1. Maybe we all expected too much. But he will be just fine. The clock is ticking for him. He knows what he has to do. He'll get on track this season.

  • Three things were going on at the same time yesterday at the stadium:

    1.  Men's Soccer team was practicing (at the south end).
    2.  Baseball team was conducting batting practice (at the north end).
    3.  Hiram Moore was catching balls from a trainer.

Looks like Hiram is obtaining the proper work ethic. :D

  • Nice post, thanks for the info Chris. Good to hear. That goes along with all the reports we've been hearing about "the teams" change in attitude.

  • The report I get from the man in charge of strength and conditioning is that just about all the guys are stepping it up very nicely.

  • Hiram has the makings of being a Starter for the HERD but I don't know if he will ever crack the line-up.  We are young and deep in this position.  There is a lot of talent coming out this year.  Leath,Filer,Lindsey,Lewis,Corbin
Plus Spann, Fitz, Hargrove, Lauzon, Manns (hope he steps it up a notch), and Smith returning.  I would like to see Manns and Moore in the line-up but only time will tell.
    Go Herd...
