  • A site I help run, thegamingtailgate.com, is aiding EA SPORTS in gathering information for NCAA Football 12 as to whether or not teams use a cannon as part of their game day experience.

Here's a link to the information we have so far: http://www.thegamingtailgate.com/forums/content.php?360-Help-Shape-NCAA-Football-12-Cannons

That said, we haven't been able to find information on Marshall and figured I'd ask your help with the information. Here is what we need:

    School: Marshall
    Cannon (Yes/No)
Cannon Type (Modern Military or Classic Western)
    Fired After Every Score (Yes/No)
    Inside Stadium/On Field Level (Yes/No)

Any information you could provide would be a great help. Thank you!

  • Didn't we have a cannon in the late 80's/early nineties.  I recall ROTC used to fire it when we would score.  I swear I recall it at Fairfield... but, can't seem to recall one at the Joan.

Which I hate, hate, hate!!!!!  NO MORE BELL!!!!!!  WE NEED MORE CRACKS OF THUNDER!!!  A BIG, ROLLING BOOM OF THUNDER.......with the new sound system it sounds AWESOME!!!!!  I know last year a few times they would use thunder, but it should be after every score and on 3rd down.  GO THUNDERING HERD!!!!!

  • We used to have a real buffalo that would try to eat artificial turf. But he's been turned out to pasture in favor of a fake one riding a hog.
