This win is a big time confidence booster not just for the team, but Herd fans too! I've been very critical of Doc and Legg to step up and they delivered ("big time") Even though Cincy is not that good of a team this year, it's not going to diminish the fact, (WE DOMININATED THE BEARCATS AT THEIR HOME FIELD!) This win will carry over for the remainder of the year and perhaps seasons to come.  My pessimism (level went from a poor 2 to a bright 10+!) I have to be perfectly honest, I didn't think Doc could turn this around and make the necessary changes that needed to be made. We all have been very critical of coach Legg not opening up the offense, especially not getting Yurachek involved, what we seen last night can only get better. It's still a long season, it's a lot brighter than previous seasons that's for sure.  I wont settle for anything less than a ( CUSA CHAMPIONSHIP), that I feel is ours to lose!. BTW, I'm not ready to "eat crow" just yet. I hope Herd fans will remind me after we win "a championship" just how wrong I was.  :)

The chemistry is much better. It is easily seen on the sidelines.  The guys all supporting one another.  They look like a TEAM before ever going on the field to run a play.

A lot of Herd fans should be eating a heaping portion of crow after we have started 3-1. Most people said we easily lose to Cincy and Miami and here we are sitting at 3-1.  After N.C. State I had a strong feeling we would be 3-1.  We just looked different.  Sure we didn’t whip Kent State but that first half at N.C. State felt right. Now we just have to not have let downs. Keep being aggressive and hit these teams in the mouth every week.

Speaking of ODU, had to cancel my reservation since I could not attend, now  I am able to go. Anyone  know where reservations  might be available? The good news is apparently fans are returning.

Last night was the most complete game we've played in 3 years and we win out if all 3 phases play like that. I just have one question. If Legg can call and offense like that in one game why the hell do we go back to the post it note play book the next week? He's done this a couple times. He's like a Jeckyl and Hyde OC. I hope he stays with Hyde. Our D is the best it's been in years too, but when Cinci came out and ran down our throats in the 3rd, I got worried. We desperately need more beef up front for those stronger lines and bigger backs. The addition of Young will help with that but we need it on the front line too. Hopefully that's the team that show up the rest of the year.

After the Kent State performance, I thought we had a decent chance to beat Cincy but I sure didn't predict a big win.  Part of that had to do with unforced errors on Cincy's part.  Still, we took advantage of those errors and I think we scored on every Cincy turnover.

Pretty sure you're right. I just wish we'd put the foot on the throat in the second half when we have big leads. Litton was 1 for only 4 attempts passing in the 2nd half. Without a productive run game, we usually get bit in the ass doing that. I know most of our starting D was out when they scored their last 2 but still, these coaches have to put teams away. We saw mostly the same conservativism once we had the lead in the 2nd, just lucky that Cinci couldn't get past our D. Thank god though we finally remembered Yurachek is still on the team.

Hearing "payback" before teams like Charlotte and ODU, stll make me angry, but it's good to see us looking at 5-1 fairly easy and dare i say, garnering votes around 7-1?
