  • The phins have the second pick in the draft, what do you think.  We need alot but we do need a QB and RB. I have herd that Indi's RB will be a free-agent and is interested in going back (Univ. of Miami). None of the QB's really excite me since the kid at USC is staying put.

  • If I was a Dolphis fan (thank god Im not, I hate'm) I would be more worried about who your next coach was gonna be in 3-5 years. Because I don't see Saban staying there if he doesn't start winning playoff games or championships. I see him leaving and going back to college at that point, to take over something like a Syracuse. If I was Saban in the Warroom my biggest concerns would be a RB, QB, MLB, DB.

    cuse??  no way.

you maybe right, but if he does return, I'd think he'd go to a program a little higher profile than that.

I could just see him retuning with a chip on his shoulder and taking over a program like that and trying to trun it around.

  • I to have concerns with Saban, or any college coach. I really haven't seen a great deal of success from many of them. Can anyone even name 5 good college coaches who went on to the same level of greatness in the NFL?

  • You boys could've had Moss if not for Jimy Johnson being the coach at that time...

    Quote
The Dolphins were desperate for a big and big-shot receiver, and Moss — 6-feet-4, 210 sinewy pounds — fit the description coming out of Marshall as one of the nation's best college players. Miami held the 19th pick in that year's shopping spree, but had traded it long before Moss turned up still on the board at their spot.

Not that Johnson ever was one for second-guessing himself.

"Moss was not in the equation," Johnson said in eventual summation of the situation at the time.

Minnesota took Moss with the 21st selection in that draft, and the Dolphins picked John Avery eight spots later.
