from "all" of our assistant coaches in MBB? I don't know anything about any of them (as to what they contribute). But I don't read much from the Herdmeister's, etc. who attend the practices and probably know a lot they could share.

The announcers last night were giving props to our assistants for recognizing that Campbell tried to pull a fast one on the foul shooter after the intentional. So that's one thing lol.

I would say complacent and just being happy being an assistant coach at a mid major.  I would like to see coaches with the drive to move up and become head coaches.  Our guys have been here for years without a sniff of other jobs.  Just being happy in the 304 not the best for developing a program, although it does take years to learn the DD "system".

Although I did not respond to my own question.....this is kind of where I was leading. I admit I am totally ignorant on the situation....but I just wonder how has Cline and Rigot helped us.....it just doesn't appear to me that we are actually developing players (especially the bigs and the foreighn type players).

The honest truth is that Cline & Rigot should have been let go by now, Cline isn?t the coach he once was, and Rigot has never been any good. If we didn?t have Corny we would be in trouble.

Rigot just doesn't seem to fit the other assistants. Been around him just a little and seemed very arrogant. I know he was never very well liked at other schools he was at previously. I would like to see him move on.

Agree with the notion of "complacency".  Program seems to have become "static", if not "stale" in certain aspects.

Seems unusual, perhaps, that in 8 years the program hasn't had much turnover in its staff.  Normally if one is at an uber successful program, UK, Gonzaga, etc. you would expect some movement on the staffs.  There, of course, coaches tend to leave because they are in demand for HC openings at other big programs, or at other programs trying to upgrade.

Now if Danny's team was perennially achieving success at a level where we are in the NCAA and/or NIT pretty regularly, and if Rigot, Cline, etc., were landing 4 star or better recruits in nearly every class, don't you all think that some of these coaches would have gone elsewhere by now?   Sadly, as the result of last night's game versus a team of "Camels" shows, that stuff just "ain't" happening at MU with this staff!
