HUNTINGTON — Who needs a casino when you can play Marshall’s version of running back roulette?

Think about it. Spin the wheel and see where the green-and-white ball lands. 20? 47? 8? 33? 37?

I don’t know if “strange” is the right term, but running back has been the position most difficult to handicap under coach Doc Holliday and his offensive coordinator Bill Legg. Let’s recap the chronology:

n 2010 — Martin Ward was the leader of the running back committee, statistically, but his last claim to glory was a 55-yard run against West Virginia. Tron Martinez, in his first collegiate series with the game on the line, fumbles at the WVU 6, igniting the Mountaineers’ comeback from a 21-6 deficit.

You can tell  Doug and Doc no nothing about taking a gamble.  Roulette wheels only have 36 numbers and 0 and 00    LOL

The lack of Roulette knowledge didn't bother my liking the story; actually I didn't know it either and don't think I've missed much in life because of it. (hehe)
