Snyder: "We are a poorly coached team right now." And before people jump on me remember a couple of things. First, i supported him getting hired 3 years ago. Second, as bad as it is right now I think that as of now he deserves one more year. With that said, I think he is right. Let's get started.
1. Penalties- how is it that we get a penalty on every single kickoff return? We are talking about 100-120 yards worth of field position today.
How many times did we have 1st and 20 or more? I remember at least twice when it was 1st and 30. Every time we got on there side of the field we would get false start, holding, false start and then throw a screen on 1st and 30. This is the 4th game of the year!
2. Tackling- we are the worst tackling team in the country. I can think of at least 2 situations where poor/no tackling directly lead to touchdowns. When Janac apparently thought the QB was wearing a red jersey on 3rd down and he scrambled for a first down deep in our territory. Then the last touchdown when we had the runningback in the backfield but instead he broke it for a 42 yard td.
And can someone tell me why Albin is out there. I know Johnson was hurt, but did you see that running back make a simple cut and Albin go face first into the ground? Wow that was bad.
3. Playcalling- We went verticle against New Hampshire with a ton of success. When we went veticle against Cincy we had success. Yet Kueck insists on doing all of the this other sh!t. We get down to the 1 yard line and run the option??????? What in the hell is wrong with this guy? How does this man still have a job?
4. Decisions- After the safety why did we punt when we could have kicked off? Our punting is a complete crapshoot and we kickoff pretty well. So we punt the ball and give it to them at the 45. Why did we not attempt to score at the end of the game. We are 0-4 and down 40-14 coach!!!!!!!!!! Try and punch it in.
Where we go from here I don't know. But if we lose to Memphis we re starting 0-7. So get ready.
