Best are very Underrated players - was Voyles our leading scorer?
These guys are younger and better than Voyles
They will be hard to get / herd doesn?t mess with city bb players for some reason.

Did you know the MEAC probably has the fastest & most dangerous KR/PR in nation? Not in portal though. I?ll alert if he goes in. 10.2 in 100m. Avg about 40 or more yds a kick return. I bet he can help Herds slow men?s track/fb teams.

doesn't surprise if they are having trouble recruiting but maybe they can pull out a decent class anyway. cash would help a lot. we'll soon find out if hiring from within and having the same recruiters as before was a mistake or not. time is ticking on quality recruits

I still think recruiting will be better than Danny did. Because I know that they wanted players and even had players lined up better than what Danny decided to go with. Only thing that may stop it is if Danny's backers stopping there money. But I wouldn't think so since it's Corny.

Some of those were players that wanted to be here and Danny chose less talented. Recruiting is not about signing kids for the fans quick happiness. It's about a process and getting the best players. If it takes longer then so be it. Corny was left with a disaster and he has one heck of a job repairing this pathetic roster he was left with.

Not holding Corny responsible for this season, he came in under worse conditions than when Herrion left, true I know for a fact Corny and Adam would show him video on new recruits and he would shoot them down.

Enough with excuses for Corny. He does not get a pass. He was hired before the portal opened and if he was already recruiting he should have relationships to sign players. Basketball is easy to fix as has been shown by many 1st year coaches...we just lost 1 to Tennessee.
Corny should have at least already signed 2 players. He does not slide in year 1. If he was the right hire we should have already seen roster improvements.

Nobody said he was the right hire or the wrong hire. Just that he was left with a disaster at the 1-2-3 spots. I e been around the inside to know how recruiting works and the process. It's not about how quick you sign players but who you end up getting. It's also a very fluid situation. You may be targeting 5-6 kids this week and 3-4 better kids come into play the next week. Then you have to set up a date for them to come in and visit. Nobody knows how this will turn out. But I'm betting that Corny is working 18 hours a day to get this right. He knows he has a huge opportunity of a lifetime and doesn't want to blow it. And I'll guarantee they are working on guys that have not even been mentioned anywhere. And if he blows it, it won't be because he took a bunch of slow projects like we have been seeing way too much of over the last few years. Patience!!!!

The first year will be a mess. He was left a tough situation. Not sure if Corny is the right or best hire but have to give him a chance. We'll see what happens. Year two better be a huge improvement.

I have been patient with Huff so I will give Corny a free ride this year. None of the returning players were not even close to be all SBC players. He working in a bad situation, like taking over a sales job that is last place in sales for a company. It might take a season or two get the program on the right track. I just want to see improvement and coaching in his first season. I want to see the players in strength and conditioning program.
My concern is the Dan factor. Will Corny be able to be his own man or will Dan be exerting influence over him? Based on Dan's record, I don't want Dan anywhere near the program.
