  • That does suck.  Must be Doc's fault.

  • That sucks. I was afraid we wouldn't be able to hold onto him but I was afraid it would be Miss St or a bigger (SEC, etc) program, didn't expect to lose him to WKU.

  • I was told that he was told a coaching change was occurring here at MU. Could be rumor but that's the word in Ashland

  • I've heard Brohm's name mentioned a LOT for other jobs, Doc's very sparingly (and none seriously), so unless I'm in the dark it would have to be assistants rumored to be moving?

Maybe Brohm is headed to UGA and Doc to WKU?  Then, our resident I'm *&$#@* can be happy...while Doc's new team kicks our heads in every year.

  • Bowling Green isn't exactly down the road though. I mean Cincy and OU would have been closer stops with similar distance. Following a friend? Upset at what he saw? Foster, Davis, Weems and so on? While at WKU he should get quick pt. lots of factors possible. Interested in that coaching rumor though. Chez has had most stories right on or real close when he posts em.

not a very solid reason to pick the school where you are going to spend the next 4 to 5 years of your life.  i always understood him and his family were big Marshall fans?  May be something he will regret.  I wish him well, but cant help to think this may be a mistake.

I don't know.  Marshall is t exactly Harvard or Bama.  And there's a lot to be said for staying with friends.  To a 17 year old, I figure that's a decent reason.  And, this is FAR from over.  Don't be surprised if he moves way up to a better program, or switches back.

  • I guess we can't really get mad about a star offensive recruit decommitting from a local C-USA East school to follow his friend and teammate to another one.

  • He's already flipped twice, WKU may not wanna get too confident he'll stick, especially with fluid coaching situation there

Watched Doc's tv show during the bye week, Doc said on tv that recruiting is done and that there are just a few targets that the assistants were going to visit with and Doc and the rest of the staff weren't going recruiting they were staying in Huntington to game plan for Western Kentucky....

Which one of those is more disappointing, that recruiting was over or they spent an entire week to develop that game plan for WKU?.....

  • Recruiting is never done.  Several names being mentioned on the premium board.  Kids commit and decommit all the time.  Alot of time left until signing day.
