"I have to tell you, I really do not see an NFL-style playoff coming to college football any time soon," BCS coordinator and Big 12 commissioner Kevin Weiberg said Tuesday.
Why not? It has been working finr for years already in College football! Ever hear of 1-AA, I thought that was part of the NCAA! :?
The BCS signed a four-year deal worth $320 million with Fox last month for the broadcast rights to the Fiesta, Orange and Sugar bowls from 2007 to 2010 and the national title game from 2007 to 2009.
Now why won't the BcS consider changing the current format? Hummm, could it have anything to do with getting
$80,000,000 A YEAR FOR JUST SHOWING THE GAMES ON TELEVISION?
And that is only 3 of the 4 bowls because the Rose bowl bargains for its' own television contracts!
I thought the BCS was to put the best teams in the bowls? If this is true then why does any conference have an automatic tie in? Why not the top 8 teams in the BCS get a chance at those Bowls? MONEY! It will never change, at least now we know it won't change at least until after 2010
