Getting to the quarterback has been one of the Blue Raiders' biggest strengths this season, but that was not case against Marshall.

While they got some pressure on Wells early and hurried him at times, MTSU couldn't sack him.

This gave Wells plenty of time throw deep, especially in the second and third quarters. Most of those deep passes went to Willie Johnson, who finished with eight receptions for 137 yards and two touchdowns.
