Like many of his colleagues, Wisconsin Coach Bret Bielema gives weekly Most Valuable Player awards to someone from each phase of the game -- offense, defense and special teams. This week, however, the Badgers' offensive honor went to five players: sophomore left tackle Gabe Carimi, senior left guard Andy Kemp, sophomore center John Moffit, senior right guard Kraig Urbik and senior right tackle Eric Vanden Heuvel. That group, which has an average height of 6 feet, 6 inches and an average weight of 319 pounds, paved the way for Wisconsin's running backs to amass 404 yards on 63 carries Saturday in a 38-17 season-opening win over Akron. It was the Badgers' first 400-yard game since Nov. 23, 2002, when Wisconsin rushed for 416 yards against Minnesota.
