There is no doubt that the mac is a dead end conf. ... They do have some nice programs and there has been some nice players come out of it ... But, at the end of the day it is still a conf. that is home to teams that let you in for free with a box of mac & cheese.

It is still a conf. that one of it's bell cows can't draw more than 8K when a recent alum and super bowl winning QB shows up on homecoming no less.

The conf. as a whole is a joke ... It was a great landing spot for us when we jumped up to IA in lieu of being and Indy and trying to schedule that way.

The best thing that conf. has going for it is the commish ... And he is being mentioned as a possible AD at Notre Dame ... Of which he is an alum.

If he leaves the mac is toast.
