    88. Marshall  2004 Record: 6-6  Conference USA
Marshall's first year in Conference USA could be a rough one losing the entire defensive front seven including All-Everything sackman Jonathan Goddard. The offense takes some hits as well losing the top two quarterbacks, RB Earl Charles and top receiver Josh Davis.
Biggest offensive loss: WR Josh Davis   Biggest defensive loss: DE Jonathan Goddard

Should strike up a good debate.

  • We really can't argue with that.  After going 8-4 year before last, and 6-6 this year, what can we expect the national writers to say?  I think we have enough talent to have a good year next year, but we do need some people to step up and fill some holes.  We need a QB, some WRs, LBers, and DL.  Yea, we have some talented people to plug into those holes...the only question is how they will perform.  Take that and combine it with our hardest (and best) schedule ever, and it isn't surprising what is being said.  I think we will shock some people this year, and hopefully come out with a hunger that has seemed to be missing the past few years.
