THat's got to be  a really stupid mistake, especially considering the subject. Hickman gets one chance to objectively report on both schools and screws up the facts. Not good journalism at all.

if those bastards had accepted our reasonable 2-1 offers of years past instead of saying we don't go to huntington and then booking a 2-1 with UCF for the purpose of "recruiting" they wouldn't be in this situation.

The words speak for themselves. I've never seen such journalistic irresponsibility from a so-called senior reporter.

Hickman lives -- and reports -- in a blue and gold bubble. This gaffe is proof of it. If he makes simple mistakes like this...what else has he gotten wrong?

There should be a contrite apology forthcoming...I don't believe it will ever happen.

Will calling this to his attention make Hickman a more responsible, correct journalist?

That remains to be seen, and is in his court.

Don't believe a word this man writes. He doesn't check facts...apparently. And checking facts is what a journalist is hired, and payed, to do.
