  • On Espn's Insider section (which will not allow you to cut and paste) it said Stan was not doing anything to help him to get drafted. Said his quesitonable height is making him struggle to find throwing lanes and has not shown accuracy. Did say he definetely posses NFL arm strength but the consistency is not there accourding to the report. Cribbs from Kent is playing WR and is showing some good skills, maybe a FA.

  • Cribbs has a future as a return specialist.

Stan, otoh and as we all know, is the embodiment of an enigma. His performance in Neyland Stadium had me imagining a 3rd Marshall NFL QB. And ever since then, we've seen glimpses of that same kind of talent and tenacity, but just glimpses. More often, he was tentative and wild.

    Puzzling. Very puzzing.

Was it the knee? Was it another injury? Was it the lack of confidence in his O-line? Was it the lack of a real go-to receiver (and I'm sorry, but for all his good points, Josh was a stats receiver... never reliable enough to be a "go-to" guy, imo)...???

Is he a viable candidate for NFL Europe? Or is there a physical something that he just can't heal enough? I don't know, but I'm interested to know if someone else has some insight.

  • I wish him the best but hopefully Stan got a degree - he is going to need it.

  • I couldn't find the game in my TV listings. I understand that game time is 4PM EST.

  • Why would anyone find this a startling revelation. Unfortunately for Hill he has been hyped for far too long by people that knew better, like the coaches and one in particular. This is a perfect example of telling a kid anything to just keep him on or get him on the field. Maybe now and hopefully he has his degree Hill can get on with his life and leave the NFL nonsence behind..
