WVU fixed their problem, your move Spears

    • Looks like WVU made a strong hire to lead their men's basketball team, Spears needs to make a move this year unless he is tone deaf when it comes to gaining any fan support in WV.

    • Who is it?  Is there any kind of link to a story?  The Herald-Dispatch quit publishing on Monday and it will probably be Thurday before they get around to having a story about it.

    My understanding is that Spears can't make the call without approval from above

    Anyone hear otherwise?

    I'm by no means one of the most plugged-in guys around.
    But with Huff, the rumblings from the people who matter even reached my ears. I haven't heard squat regarding DD.
    (They are not really equivalent situations. I'm just pointing out the rumor mill situation from the little guy POV.)

    This is what I'm hearing. And, I'm not sure what an AD is going to think about not being able to do their job. When given the opportunity, he's made some really good hires so far. I wonder if he would stick around. Everything I'm hearing he wants change.

    • I think you guys are wasting your time. If Marshall had any intentions of letting Danny go, I think it would have already been done. I think Danny is here for at least one more year.
