If we're stuck with him, hopefully this lights a fire under his butt.  But given his demographic he probably thinks it's cute that the womenfolk are making some waves.  Then again, maybe he's reading that many on here would like her to replace him.  That's a hard hit to the ego.

That's what I thought when I first saw that tweet. Does Spears and Smith have a vision for men's basketball or are they going to allow Danny to (bleep) his way for another two years?

He's going to continue to be Weekend at Bernie's while Corny and Adam prop him up and move him around.

  • It appears the shared commitment is there for DD to return. Not necessarily the shared commitment most fans want, but it does appear to be a shared commitment.

Unless the shared vision involves a dumpster fire, vision is completely lacking.

  • I keep telling all of you that Danny will be back.  Eventually, Corny will get his chance.

That would be the worst hire Marshall could make. I am sure Corny is a good guy and appreciate him, but no way in heck should he ever be considered to be our HC.

  • If you want a coach who plays like Caldwell, you should watch Samford and Bucky McMillan play.

They call it "Bucky Ball" and have 10 guys getting at least 13 minutes per game and nobody more than 25 minutes. Full-court press from the get go and three's galore.

He just got them to the NCAA Tournament after beating ETSU. He's gone 6-13, 21?11, 21?11, and 29-5 this year with a trip to the dance. Regardless, I think he'll be gone after this year to a major program.

Who is making that call? It can't be the guy that is going to have the most coaching losses in Herd history.
