The stagnant SBC programs....

  • Coming into the season ODU, Marshall, and Coastal all had long term coaches. In the past, these coaches had some good seasons, but have fell short the last few years. Quite honestly (more Marshall/ODU) these programs should be a consistent SBC power in Men's basketball with JMU. So now we are at the end of the season and what are these schools doing to improve their programs:

    ODU- New coach who happens to be an up and comer with strong recruiting ties to DMV.
    Coastal- reported to hiring WCU's coach Justin Gray another up and comer.
    Marshall- Our 76 year old coach wants to stay because he just enjoys basketball.

    Maybe we could offer him one of those high buck seats on the floor.  It would probably be easier on his aging knees, instead of having to stand there with his arms crossed the whole damn game.
