I haven't felt they were unfair.  The guy is often lost making dumb statements, but equally stupid.

An example of his dumbness.  We tied the score  in the third qtr and he says Marshall takes the lead for the first time in the game.  Duh we tied the score and we lead 9-3 at the start.

ODU playing way too hard, they don't have the bench to keep it up.   We'll be ahead by the end of the 3rd qtr and win going away.

We definitely didn't play our A game, but we still find a way to win. Only 37% from the field but our free shooting (21 of 27) was the difference.

On to the championship.

I figure it would be tougher than the other two matchups for ODU. A close game & playing from behind probably will help us.

Most wins in program history; already a regular season championship & now a spot in the tournament championship game. This is where I wanted them to be. I will take an ugly win over a pretty loss any day of the week. So happy for these women and their coach.

I hate tomorrow's start time. It is awful for fans that work. But I gotta feeling Coach Caldwell likes the quick turnaround. We get to analyze who we play by watching the next game. She always says our style is hard to prepare for in such a quick turnaround. Whoever wins this next game will get less than 24 hours to recoup and prepare. ODU had some prep time.

I am ready next season to support this team with my time & money because of the championship accumen of the coach. I made the mistake of not doing it this year. I can live with the results of tomorrow because I feel this coaching staff maximized their resources & the efforts of their players. This program shows you don't have to buy into the notion that as a fan, you have to settle for marginal results.

Agree, as I mentioned this game felt a lot like the JMU game. The difference though is why Kim plays this style, the last 11 minutes we outplayed them. Also, felt the ODU coach was too smug at the half, and it bit her in the rear. Great Job by the girls! I have really enjoyed watching them this season and my money will be going to them next year.

As said, gritty win. Hopefully we got this out of our system. Pretty confident we'll face JMU again.

The ODU coach is very smug, I listened to her after the first game and she really did not give Marshall any credit. After listening to her again, I think we will come back and win. Just feels like a gut feeling, or might just be wishful thinking due to my lack of fondness for ODU's coach.

Agree, I doubt she will give much credit to Kim and Marshall in the post-game press conference.
