Topic: We lost 8 of the last 9 games. What is the standard?

This was bad this year. Losing 8 of the last 9 games is bad. This was the second 20-loss season in three years. I don't care that we got one win in the 7/10 first round game. That was cosmetic. We lost three games this year to interim coaches. Half of our roster can't even average 3 points per game. Most on the roster never get in the game for any type of significant minutes.

Are we going to retain our coach based on this? What is the standard for this program? That is all I ask.

I love basketball also but I just like Dan, have no business being MUs coach.

He likes being the man in charge but he can't love basketball and act the way he does.  He may love the thought of basketball but not the work it takes to be good at it.

I agree. Seen too many men his age that just can't hang it up. Most of them either have a fear of dying, or have nothing else to do. In almost every circumstances, they had to be pushed out and it wasn't pretty.

Right now, the standard is to have a losing record, blame anyone but yourself and be classless when you lose. At least that's what it seems for basketball.

Unfortunately, Danny didn't finish his statement, at least out loud:  "I love basketball . . . . " but just can't coach it at the Division 1 level!
