I thought Campbell should have been 2nd team and Hayes 3rd team......

  • Get your check book out Mr. Spears, Coach Caldwell deserves a bonus for winning the regular season conference championship and being named the coach of the year.

I'll bet more bonuses will be due for additional accolades before the postseason is over.
Retired 10 years early to follow Herd sports.
Those 10 years have been marvelous.

  • Have to be coach of the year when you can go 17-1 with only 2 of the 15 best players I guess.

  • 14 teams, 15 players available to recognize, and we got two of them, plus coach and player of the year.  It's not a slight, it's a compliment.  They tend to spread those things around.  We already won the best team award and that's all that matters.

  • This would be one of the negative effects of Cauldwell's style of play.  With so many players rotating in and out so often players that would look like stars on other teams  sink in the stats here at Marshall.
