  • MEN are playing GA STATE on the road and are down 10 in the first half!!  Women are playing in Huntington!

Danny boy sure has his HERD "PEAKING" for the tourney, doesn't he?

  • In all honesty, I like what Nutter is bringing to this game this evening. We are doing better with him in there instead of Curfman.

Dan will need to play his best athletes against this team. Crawford has to play a lot more minutes tonight.

  • I can't understand why someone would watch the men's team over the women's team.

  • 39-39. Voyles is hot. We have to keep feeding him. Georgia State doesn't even run an offense. It is a lot of one-on-one stuff. No reason we shouldn't win this game.

Conner can't play very many minutes. He was a real liability out there. Fricks is awfully weak.

  • I don't know which team defends the high screen worse. We switch on every thing and get horrible matchups which has led GA State to get 46 points at the half. GA State fights thru the screen by going under the screen leaving our guards wide open for uncontested 3s.

I like our fight and battling on the boards tonight. But we have wilted around the ten minute mark of the second half the last couple of games.

That is Georgia st plan. You go one on one and you torch Marshall because we are so slow laterally and with the idiotic switching we do. Georgia Southern wrecked us doing exactly that. We are getting beat by really bad teams. We are awful!!!

  • There is really no need to do any thing but let Crawford, Voyles and Martin play a 3-man game on one side of the floor. They can't stop it.

However, it is clear that they are going after Curfman when we are on the defensive end.

  • Voyles was coming down the court unguarded. That is who you want with the ball.

And Dan calls a timeout as Voyles hits a three in stride. Why does he do sh!t like this?

Hottest guy in the game comes down the court with the ball. Unreal. We should have never lost this game.

  • What kind of play was that to get an open 3? Voyles should have take the last shot. It's time for Dan to go!

  • That game tying play was well designed.  All we ever do is stand on the perimeter.  Offense design stinks.  D always has.

  • What a great play Danny came up with on that last shot NOT!!!! Good grief does he even know how to floor coach. There are zero changes on either end of the floor no matter what the other team is doing. Please fire him next week please!!!

  • Was at the women's game. Didn't get to the car until 11 to go in the game. So, the men lose again. Way to limp into the tournament coach.

Typical Clowntoni "strategery". Calls a to, sets a "clever" play which results in an air ball on a, what else, WILD THREE!!

One more game for the HERD to attain their 20th Loss which may help nudge those "in power" to do the BEST THING for MU, and to H*LL with the "tonis"!

  • What a wasted effort when Martin and Voyles played like warriors out on the floor.

This game completely showed that if we had a few more players to compliment those two that the record could have been reversed. Too many nonproductive players. Too many players that play too many minutes when they can't guard. That is on Dan. Terrible design play at the end. He should have never called timeout because we all knew it would be futile. He should have just let Voyles keep coming down with the ball.

  • Looks like we limp into the tournament as the coldest team in the SBC as losers of 7 straight & looks like we're cemented as the #10 seed

  • Two years ago 12-21 and now 12-19. If Danny is allowed to come back then it PROVES Marshall cares nothing about men's basketball. No other school would tolerate those numbers especially from a 77 year old coach that knows nothing except crossing his arms for 40 minutes.

It really makes me sick watching him laugh it up and cracking jokes and going to Georgia to eat him some peach pie nonsense. Hire somebody that takes coaching and losing seriously for goodness sakes. He has no answers and only knows how to blame players and officials. How Spears and Smith can watch this and be ok with bringing him back is a disgrace to the Marshall fanbase. At least when Jirsa and Freeman were losing they weren't laughing and acting like they were John Wooden after a seven game losing streak. It's sickening watching this same broken record of him after every game.

  • Glad to see the coach laughing it up and still having fun.  He says we got to get better?  Well when you recruit guys who wouldn?t start most church leagues what do you expect?  First coach to win a NCAA tournament and now shooting for most consecutive loses.  It?s just time.
