  • - MU women have only 5 20 win seasons in it's history.
    - Last team to do it was in 2015-16 under Coach Daniel
    - Daniel's team was first to win 20 since 1991
    - School record # wins was 24 under Coach Southard in 80's.

I believe men's soccer broke school record for wins last year, as did softball.
"Too many people are thinking of security instead of opportunity; they seem more afraid of life than of death"  – James F. Byrnes

Government is the most dangerous institution known to man. Throughout history it has violated the rights of men more than any individual or group of individuals could do: it has killed people, enslaved them, sent them to forced labor and concentration camps, and regularly robbed and pillaged them of the fruits of their expended labor. ~ JOHN HOSPERS

  • Looking at the standings, a win tonight clinches a double-bye heading into the tournament.

We are two games ahead of Troy for regular season title. Troy is at Arkansas State this evening. Troy beat them in overtime by 7 a month ago. I don't know if Arkansas State has any lingering suspensions from that brawl. If not, they may get Troy this evening. Regardless, we just need our women's team to play like they have been playing.

Next weekend could be special if we don't have a disaster this week.

AR ST scored 9 in the 3rd and only 2 in the 4th after their player showed her @ss leading to the brawl @ SO Miss. Despite that, they only lost by around 15, with 4 So. Miss players ( most of whom had been on the court during the fracas ) ejected for 2nd half. Appears to have taken the competitive steam out of them - at least for the rest of that game.

  • Double bye is already clinched because we have the tiebreaker on ODU (and either they or GA State are guaranteed a 6th loss when they play each other).

But yeah, anything less than a regular season title would be disappointing at this stage.
