    • As a Marshall fan, I thought about the same thing as I did Skinner's TD pass vs. Hofstra with 30 sec left.....2nd teamers want to score too. Or is it different somehow?

    Isnt the object of the game for the defense to stop the score?

    • I didn't get to see the last 5 minutes... I was trying to be kind to my server and let her have the table... key question seems to me to be if UT had 2nd stringers in... if so, it's the same as we did w/ Hofstra... if not, it's still ok by me personally... agree with the Pruett philosophy that it's our job to keep them out of the end zone, and it doesn't matter what the clock and scoreboard says.

    • It's unusual for me to disagree with you 2x, much less twice in one day.  It's their job to score; it's our job to stop 'em.  If I'm a second stringer I'm going to try my damnedest to put the ball in the endzone.

    Our team should be good enough to stop them!  If not, we must suffer the consequences.  It would be nice if our offense would help the our DEFENSE a little...

    • If we cant stop them, then they deserve to score.  As a coach and player you want to hold nothing back.  I would have done the same thing, and Marshall would have to.

    UT is great!!  i love them too.  i just wich nasty old kayo wouldn't have forbid them from visiting us.
