Actually that?s why I posted.  Talked to a couple of big herd fans who had no idea.  I have only seen link in tweet from Huff and if you just go to HerdZone it?s not prominent or easy to find.

I received an email from the Big Green about this event dated March 30.

I personally think it has been promoted VERY poorly. I got one email and saw the tweet from Coach Huff.

This is just personal opinion, but promote the ever living hell out of this to the general public and start the bids at $50. I feel like making it more accessible and ramping up some interest would have been a better way to get this moving.

I wouldn?t want a job trying to get financial support from our fans.  They are more interested in supporting our former players at new schools than donating some cash and spending time with former herd greats at Marshall

On the other hand, perhaps an Athletic Director with a 21st Century mindset, marketing and communication skills, along with skills in the various social media, and who surrounds himself with a like minded staff, WILL "change that"!!

Being excited about the new staff doesn't mean bowling with the old players is going to excite everyone.  You act like some lame fundraiser with zero advertising and a hefty price tag not being popular means we don't want Huff to be here.  One has zero to do with the other.  Nice stretch.

Lot of people lost income in the last year and many more are still adverse to gatherings and crowds.  If this, and the Huff hiring, happened in 2019 there would be a whole different dynamic.

& then there's those of us whose job requires us to wear a face diaper 10 hrs/day & the last thing we wanna do is spend our free time somewhere that requires us to wear 1, as well.  screw that crap.
