Looks like a nice addition.  Freshman All American at Furman and played sparingly after transferring to the Illini.  Moved from OL to DL at Illinois.  Maybe moving back to OL???

Marshall will be his 4th school, he had prior stops at Minnesota, ODU, and Colorado.  Looking at his prior seasons stats, I doubt Coach Prime is wringing his hands over this transfer.  He was not on the first team at Colorado.
I'm sure he's not.  Just noting that we got one of his out of the portal, the right way, when he tried to take one of ours out of the locker room, the wrong way.

Flurry of incoming defensive transfers today:

Dylan Davis - DL, Illinois (6'4, 310)
Jude Okolo - DL, FAU (6'4, 290)
De'Javion Stepney - DB/KR, CMU (6'0, 190)

Not our best softball team.  Hopefully the experience this year pd off for the new inexperienced HC

I?d take a Damier Pitts over an Andy Taylor any day.

Agree didn?t shoot much - scored when needed - much tougher competition - better team on - played defense - passed the ball.

Pitts was way better

8-2 was the final.  Bub Feringa had a tough start.  She faced four batters and did not record an out, although the first batter hit a routine ball to SS that was thrown away.  Marshall could not recover.
Very unfortunately, she has had very poor outings the last several games.  I don't know what happened to her success, but it faded vastly during the last two weeks of the season. Hopefully she gets it back for next year; we need a couple portal players in the circle if we are going to regain success with Zerkle at the helm.  Too many transferred out with our last coach.

I am hearing a solid rumor that Touissant is back on the team.  I am not sure if he is taking up a scholarship or he is back as a walkon.

TRS
MU 71

FWIW: Verbal Commits is not showing Touissant with any offers. Currently Verbal Commits shows our roster with the Gibbs twins; Dawson; Martin; OAK; Fricks; the two freshmen; Nutter; Pruett and Thieneman. That is 11 players and Touissant would give us 12 players. At least we would have enough to practice and have a scrimmage. Moe has offers from other colleges. Hopefully we will sign at least one or two guards. A friend of mine told me that he is afraid that  the Women might outdraw the men's program this year.

What a clusterbomb this program is. I didn't think Corny was HC material. I'll support him and wish for the best. Hope he proves me wrong
