  • It makes sense if you have a large tourism market.  However, folks fight tourism in this state, so I would say it's just another way to get more taxes out of residents.

  • Seriously, do you believe that without provisions for the elderly, it would be a regressive tax system.  If they were to make provisions for the first, let's say $16,000. dollars, do you believe it would then be a step in the right direction or not.
