Driest(non-alcohol) cities in the US.

  • If you?re curious about the driest cities in America, Utah unsurprisingly took the top two spots courtesy of the teetotalers in Provo and St. George, while a couple of cities in West Virginia (Beckley and Charleston) and Jackson, Tennessee rounded out the top five in that particular category.

  • I remember going skiing in Utah in the 1980-1990's, they only served liquor in mini bottles and didn't serve you coffee at breakfast unless you asked for it. Mormons ruled or were the majority of the residents at that time in Utah and they were not suppose to drink alcohol or coffee.

    That's ludicrous.  There's enough booze in the Capitol building, itself, to keep Charleston off that list.
