  • The judgement part is about their relationship with God.

What I?m hearing from some on here is ?I love you, but you?re going to hell and are a lesser human being because of who and what you are?.

Pretty much correct. Jesus loves the person but not the filthy sin and lifestyle of same sex and switching sex. And I'm sure he wouldn't be happy trying to persuade kids to change their sex.

Whether someone of age wants to switch their genders is none of your or FoxNews? business.  Minors are more troublesome, but can we not agree that supporting and affirming kids going through that issue, rather than ostracizing them is a preferable way of treating fellow humans?

And the fact that you call loving, committed same sex relationships a ?filthy sin? tells me all I need to know about you.  I feel sorry for you and that burden of hate you?re carrying.

  • Jesus would tell them to go and sin no more.  Just as he would with lying, stealing, adultery and the rest of the ten commandments.

Can we just say changing "sex" instead of changing "gender."  "Gender" prior to the late 20th century was a term properly applied only to a class of nouns in certain languages, especially Romance languages, but in the last several decades it has become synonymous with "sex."  Therefore when we are saying that someone can change their gender what we really mean is that they can change their sex.

A person's sex is determined by one of their 23 pairs of chromosomes.  Their biological father supplies either an X or a Y chromosome.  If an X, the person is female.  If a Y they are male.  This cannot be changed by any process currently known to science.

Therefore, a person cannot change their "sex" (gender) any more than they can change their species.  They may choose to change their "identity" but their "gender" does not change.  No more than gluing feathers all over themselves makes them a bird, a biological male cannot physically function as a biological female, and vice versa.  No matter what is done surgically or chemically the individual's genetic makeup does not change.  Whether or not an individual chooses to accept a person changing their identity is up to them, but it is just intellectually dishonest to say that someone has changed their "sex."

I won't hate people that change their gender identity but I can't say that black is white.

As for anyone under the age of 18, we can't give aspirin to kids under 18 without their parent's consent, or a court order, so that should be a moot point period.

There is true gender dysphoria but it was once pretty rare.  I find it hard to believe that the number of people, especially young people, that really do have gender dysphoria actually have it.  But if there is money for shrinks, docs, pharmacists and school systems to be made playing this game nobody better get in the way of it.
"On rainy days, the early justices would enliven case conferences with wine. On other days, even if the sun was shining, Chief Justice John Marshall would order wine anyway, saying, 'Our jurisdiction is so vast that it must be raining somewhere.' "

I really have no problem pumping the brakes on gender/sex change authorizations for kids.  Its a difficult subject, and I sympathize with anyone going through that as a person personally affected or as a family member.

My large (much larger) concern with this thread is the demonization of the LGBTQ community, generally, by some on here.  Ignorance isn't bliss.

  • I will never understand the Christian, conservative right.

    1) Always speak out against gays, but....

    2) Strongly supported a President who was married 3 times and blatantly cheated on wife number 3 on numerous occasions....one we know with a porn star. But that was easily overlooked at the voting booth without any condemnation from the religious right. I just wonder the Bible's take on that.

And just for the record, I am not some left-wing liberal....more libertarian than any thing. Democrats irk me a lot too.

well...maybe if you looked at the alternatives and their policies and history.  but no, that's too difficult.

WTF are you talking about?  Radicals from any movement, including the LGBTQ community, are always the outliers.  But the same can be said for African-Americans, Muslims, environmentalists, and yes, even the Christian right.  Heck, even the Nazis labeled themselves as "Christian Nationalists".

The point several on here are trying to make is that loving, committed gay couples pose no threat to anyone's daily life, and its crazy that they are condemned while someone like DT - with all of his transgressions - is given a pass for the simple fact that he is/was in power.

I assume you're talking about his performance at the Grammys?  Do you even know what the point of the song "Unholy" is?  Its not satanical, notwithstanding his costume choice.  Look it up.  Maybe you'll have an "aha" moment.

And who specifically are you labeling "filthy disgusting humans"?

Are you saying there were no alternatives to Trump in the 2016 primaries? No alternatives to a guy that humiliated his wife and young son countless times with his sexual behavior, bought off a porn star to keep quiet about their adulterous affair......no alternatives during that time to that type of non-sense.

The moral majority voted for Trump in the Republican primaries. I could see if they supported a noble and upstanding man like Dr. Ben Carson, who I have a ton of respect for. But the religious right supported a well-known adulterer. A guy who was taped saying he "grabbed her in the pu$$y". You can't even argue this.

  • It is very interesting that no matter what the thread is, all roads lead to Trump.  Just saying.

foolishness but I do respect the fact that you get to virtue signal on these topics.  the poster implied that the conversvative right should be voting for jesus christ like people and not sinners like DJT.  that's a foolish argument and point, the choices were DJT and corrupt HRC, or DJT and lying, corrupt Biden.  I'll take the swamp outsider any day.  Now you get back to your virtue signaling...none of us really care but if it makes you feel better have at it.

we aren't electing homecoming queen nor are we electing the choir director for the church.  we should be electing those that have the country and us taxpayers interest at heart.  with that, I'll refer you to the period from 2016-20 where there were no new wars, the US was energy independent, inflation was reasonable and the stock market was moving.  now, get back to virtue signaling or otherwise STFU

No it didn't come overnight, it even took Judas Brandon a few months to make it happen.

So then why do you care about two guys shacked up in an apartment in Charleston, WV if they pay their taxes, work every day, mind their own business, etc.

My point is that if the head of the executive branch of the top country in the world has bedroom behavior that is no one's business, what business is someone else's sexual behavior. I think it is pretty clear. But I guess one hand has to wash the other.

I agree it's non of my business what they do when they are stacked up. But did you read the heading of this thread? Why do we need a pride night? Why do we have to give up what we like because places push it on us? Just STFU about it and everyone live in peace. How about that?????

Bwahaha!!! And again, I personally don't care how they live their life. Pushing this crap in everyone else is what I have a problem with. Why does a basketball arena need to have pride night? Just to continue to rub it in our face? I'm willing to shut up about it if they are. But I shouldn't have to give up a sport or whatever because they want to publish it into a basketball game. You sure don't have a problem when they beat the drums and spew there beliefs but we can't come back with ours? Again, I don't care what they do in their life but stop pushing it into the public trying to convince everyone else!!!
