  • Looking to jump to FBS. All I can say is that will not be a good move by any of these schools. There are too many already. Just more sisters of the poor to clutter it up more

    The economics of FCS football is kind of tricky.
    Whether a good thing or not is something that we are not in a position to know.
    In memory of Dr Daniel P Babb who taught so much to so many.

  • Looks like another version of CUSA.  Spread out nearly coast to coast and spend more time traveling than playing.  EKU is going to have some travel expenses.  If they are in discussions with 4 other FCS schools to join then the eastern schools should hope for some travel relief.  Adding 4 schools in the east/southeast would put this new conference squarely in the Sun Belt footprint.  More competition for FBS level recruits, money and tv viewership/ratings.
