Deion Sanders meets with his 1-11 Colorado Buffalo team and lets them know what the standard is.  He was direct, harsh, honest and imposing.  Agree with him or not, but I bet they are competing for the PAC-12 title if not next year by 2024 for sure.

I'd venture to say not many coaches could get away with this method but Prime time commands the respect of these young athletes who aspire to follow in his footsteps.

HBCUs never needed Sanders, but I think he also might be way underrated as a HC.

As cocky / arrogant as he comes across I believe he demands the respect of his players and they will respect him. He has never failed at anything. It'll will be a change for Colorado but will probably be a good one. He should inject intensity / fun into a program that has been irrelevant for quite a while. He is no nonsense no BS and I believe the kids that buy into that will be honored by him for their commitment.
