  • Look for a new country artist to launch his first album in February, Matthew Adam.  Formerly Matt Metheney.  From the Point Pleasant, WV area.

  • One of my favorites also . I just wish there were more artists puttting out music like that nowadays , or maybe I should say getting their tunes played on the radio.

  • After a hell of a week for us all, It's time to turn our attention back to something we can all agree upon. The Isley Brother's is one of the baddest bands ever! They started out with a hit song called" Shout in 1959", before I was born, lol, The Isley's kept it coming and had a lot of hit's in the 70's, 80's, Check out a cat on guitar named (Ernie Isley). Jimmy Hendricks taught Ernie and the brother can flat out "burn down da house!", Ya Dig? lol...I'm trying to hip you cats to a little Ebonics, lol..I'm sure you guys will love "Summer Breeze", from another great duo and one of my favorites as well, Seals and Crofts! (Biggergreenarms, I'm sure you will appreciate Hendricks protege Ernie Isley)... Enjoy!..

    Summer Breeze full version....

    Who's that lady full version..

  • I just read Huey Lewis of Huey Lewis and the News, contemplated committing suicide after suffering from hearing loss.. I love Huey Lewis and the News music. I'm praying Huey gets his hearing back, he's a very talented singer.

Hey E-Man...Huey Lewis and The News released some new music under the title "Weather".  He must have recorded them before his hearing worsened.

  • Fellas, I have to get off of this political thing and turn my attention to beautiful music.
Today I was listening to one of my favorite duo groups, Seals & Crofts. These cats made beautiful music that touched deep inside the soul. Hummingbird, Summer Breeze, Diamond Girl and many more hits from this wonderful trio. I love these tunes. They just don't make music like this today, It makes me appreciate it more.

Thanks E.  It's starting to get heated up here.  We need a diversion for awhile.

  • Watch the Argent-1972 video. Their video clip of the music is very nostalgic, including images of a drive-in with a frosty mug of root beer and an old Texaco gas station. It brought back memories of growing up in the 60s.

Back in the day the music had very good messages and sounded really good. I hope we can get back to better music, minus the computer driven sound.. Hold Your Head Up, had a very positive message.

  • I was stationed in Pentagon in early 70's and they had a Zeppelin concert sold out in half a day.  I wasn't in to them at that time.

  • Take a trip with me down south in my 1957 Rod and let's visit a few of those roadside juke joints. Here's one on the left. Let's see who playing on this Saturday night.

Movin' on down the road here's another place featuring Big Joe W.

Okay, it's getting late and best we leave before it gets too rowdy. . . .
