Did any of you watch or attend the "turning on of the fountain" recently? Seemed to me like CS was VERY BORED with the speech that the gentleman gave about his time at MU. If you don't think so, try watching his reactions again.

My wife was there, I was out of town. She told me it wasn't the best speech she's heard at the ceremony. I imagine CS has a lot on his mind.

fwiw, they have to be running low on the quality of speakers they can bring in for that ceremony.  for 1, it was almost 55 yrs ago, so a lotta folks that were in college or at the university in 1970 have passed away for 1 reason or another.  & 2, as far as i know, they don't bring people back a 2nd time (has anyone been the keynote speaker at the ceremony 2+ times??).  so, the pool of people they can bring in has to be getting pretty shallow.

Didn't see him mention anything on Huff or the majority of the coaches for Marshall sports.
