I think it?s hilarious that they think they can tell you what?s coming 50 yrs down the road weather wise.  Heck they can even get a 72 hr forecast right in the Midwest.  It?s all a money and power grab.

When I was growing up all we heard about was the impending ice age.  😂

They have gotten smarter though. It was global warming and that wasn't working for them. So then they went with climate change to cover all their bases. To much snow? Covered lol!!! And they were making dire predictions 5-10 years out. Then that caught up with them. Now they are saying if we don't start caving to their thinking then we only have 50 years left.

One key to whatever success the HERD has this season, IMO, is the Appy State game, which is in the JOAN.  Any word on how their preseason prognosis. etc., shapes up?

App is favored to win the East.

The planet takes cycles of getting warmer and then getting cooler. Climate is always changing and always has. Don't buy into the global elites desire to control and transfer of money.

HerdFans / Re: Herd That - Corporate Sponsor
« Last post by mu79grad on Today at 08:44:52 PM »
Hello all,

We are fast approaching the TBT deadline for having a corporate sponsor. If anyone owns a business on here and would like to partner with us to help us out, it would be much appreciated. Competing in TBT at a high level costs money, and with out a sponsor we will not be able to field the same product as we have the past couple of years. We have a corporate sponsor package that would be $50,000 that would include naming rights for our jersey top and shorts (sort of how NBA does) where your logo will be present on national television. It also includes some other neat perks that would hopefully help your business as well as be cool on a personal level.

If we cannot find a corporate sponsor we won?t be able to bring in the same talent, and the team may just be some of us older marshall guys going out there and doing best we can. A lot may not know, but only the teams that pay players can remain competitive anymore and compete for it all. Last year?s run, we spent close to 100,000 dollars between paying players, hotels, food, travel, etc, so to represent marshall in the best light we possibly could is not easy nor cheap. This is a last ditch effort, a Hail Mary, but if anyone on here owns a business or knows of one who may like to partner with us, can you please shoot me a personal message.

Thanks,
Ot

Just curious, from the solicitation that you sent out a few months ago, how much money did that plea raise?  I gave what I could and I would like to know the amount you raised, if you don't mind to share that information.  I know that Wolf was pushing for donations from this board as well.

Didn't know that about the jet stream. Definitely remember the one in 2012 though.

But there's absolutely no doubt that the planet is getting warmer and that warmer air means more severe storms. Don't see how either of those things can be refuted.

Has more to do with the jet stream loop bringing that weather right to our doorstep and the transition from el nino to la nina occurring right now in the gulf.  Not coincidentally, the jet stream was in the same position during the 2012 derecho that occurred here.  But sure, global warming.

The key will be making this a place young people and families will want to move to and stay. Must reverse the population loss and brain drain. We can make this town the jewel of the state and with Marshall's growth, the place to be in the region. Jmho
