This is a glorious dumpster fire of an interview of viral proportions. Dude played the race card on social media then made it 7000 times worse by clarifying himself with Alligator Jackson.

Crippsi,s hadn't opened the last time I was in Huntington, so I haven't eaten there.

After watching that, I won't be eating there next time I'm in Huntington.  As Aligator Jack tried to say businesses need to give customers what they want, these people have no idea how to run a business.

Sounds to me like "HE" has an attitude. "If" it was "his own people" who made so many negative comments, didn't want to work, show up for work or whatever, then blame them and not "the other color".
Businesses have to adapt to the customers desires, needs, etc. (not the other way around).

I had no idea who owned it. I doubt most others did either. But most of the reviews of the service and food I saw on the restaurant review pages had been negative.

My experience eating there overall has been good. Our first visit there , our order got missed and the manager caught it before we did. He sent us an order of wings ( free ) while they corrected the order. We didn?t have to complain to get the order fixed. All other visits were excellent.

30 minute interview and not once did they mention the real problem... lack of parking.

No joke. We were planning to eat there relatively soon. We love the restaurant scene in Huntington.

After watching that, there?s no way we will be eating there. Those two people have some serious issues.

Our house has been talking about it all day.

He came out of nowhere with comments, I'm only guessing he was using to get into the news to help drum up business.  Then got the opportunity to explain himself, and not only doubled down, but continued the racial insults with the Indian and Chinese communities in the process. Had his wife tell everyone if they want ketchup for their fries feel free to "BYOK".

The literal only thing I agree on him with was the part where he said it is hard to find workers who will work hard, or at the very least show up for work. That's certainly a thing in today's workforce in general.

But whatever their motivation was (and I'm assuming it was unilateral, and Randy was unaware it was going to happen), all they've done is insure the businesses' demise.

You can tell the various "critical theories" that have invaded academia and HR departments around the country shape their world view; since they jump right to racism. I guess Huntington is the aggressor and they're the victim...

There's a lack of completely free parking, yes, but the parking garage is within easy walkng distance and seldom is close to full during the day.

They'll do fine with the walk-up lunch crowd, but I doubt people will go there for 'dinner' without the adjacent parking.  Marshall HOF Cafe, Backyard, etc are destination restaurants (i.e. "let's go out to dinner tonight at _____").  Crisppi's is more fast food than that.

Fries were fine to me, but you're absolutely correct about the other aspects.  All of the times I have been there, there seems to be one person working his/her butt off with others standing around.

Many ex pro athletes lose money investing in businesses that are already hard businesses to make it in. Most restaurants dont make it, its hard to have longevity. Couple that with hiring incompetent managers, and you're destined to fail.

Sad part is from my Htown friends, its doing well. I doubt it'll be open in 12mo's after last weekend.

I went there once and an older black couple was walking out not happy at all. What's with not having ketchup, also there was nothing to go when I went there. A lot of problems need addressed.
