1) I just heard from an inside reputable source that there was an emergency meeting of the Big Green or BOG last night... cant remember which.

2) I also know that a big time donor has called a meeting for tomorrow night to put the plan in stone to buy out Snyder's contract and NOT renew Marcums contract.

Just remember where you heard it first ;)

I also heard that unofficial discussions have been made with several potential candidates and the potential candidates all said that replacing Marcum was a key element in any agreement to come coach football at Marshall. That kind of makes you think of Pruett or Donnan. But who knows.

All of this stuff is pipe dreams guys. We all know Marcum is a buffon and Kopp could care less about athletics. I guess if it makes you feel good then go on thinking that something is coming down. Heck it even makes me a little bit giddy, but it just isn't going to happen this year.

I also heard that "rumor" this morning from a guy who heard it at the "Y".
He said it is Pruett as AD and Donnan as new coach. If it came from the steam room it must be true :o

I just dont think they will wait too long though...considering I already know...and lord knows how many people will know before this Saturday.

Slightly OT but, does a college AD have to go to all the sporting events that he can like a high school AD does. Like do they have to attend Girls tennis matches and stuff like that? I just cant see how anyone with a football background (I.E Pruett, Donnan) would want to do that.
