How many of us are planning on going to Charleston on the 8th? I will be there helping Blade with the food and even though I have met several of you and/or seen you, I need to put a face with the screen name. Show of hands now...... who's coming?

Me and my 6-year old girl should be there. She will be the one explaining to everyone why the quarterbacks wear red jerseys. Dad is bringing her up right....

Bring your 6-yr old to the free cheerleading clinic held prior to the scrimmage from 11:00-12:00. The Herd cheerleaders and Marco will be there... all free. (Conveniently places you at the field for the "Thunderwalk" as the players exit the team bus at about 11:30).

This is an excerpt taken from the QB Club's press release:

"For the first time, a mini-cheerleading clinic will be held one hour prior to the start of the scrimmage from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon. Members of the Marshall University Cheerleading squad will be conducting the clinic for children ages K thru 5th grade. This clinic is free and Marco will be there also!"

Initial plans have the clinic taking place at the scoreboard end of the stadium.

does Thunders really exist? No one has ever seen him but I did hear from a guy I know that says he knows him so I'll take his word for it. Hope to see him there.

Hello all....it's been a long time since I last posted anything. I'll be there and will be helping Blade (selling drinks).

We need a big turnout. Look for radio promos on WV Radio affiliates starting next week (WCHS and 107.3 "The Jack" FM) The Charleston QB Club is putting a lot of effort into this event.

Y'all have fun. I will be doing National Guard duty that day. Oh well, its not like I don't know what that's like. One year, I was able to make only 2 home games while making it to 4 away games. Just depends on when things fall. Been doing it for 20 years and don't see any reason to stop now. (Well, except for the being old and fat thing but that's beside the point). :lol:

No tailgate this time Biggun. We'll be feeding the team and selling Que to help the QB club pay to equip the Training/Weight facility.

You can't miss us. Look for kelly green smoker(really a couple shades lighter than kelly), and a 20' tent. Stop by, introduce yourself and support Marshall! Look for me. I'll be the pretty one. :mrgreen:
