..the best thing about this team is the improvment we could see week to week as they mature...a memphis win looms large!

If we're 8-4, that would be HUGE. I'd take that in a heartbeat. Honestly, I think we'll be 6-6. Hope I'm wrong and we are better.

wolf you know the type, they win either way.

either they are happy the herd wins, probably point to the fact we're doing what they said we should be doing all along (with total disregard for changes in the team) and, if we lose.........they can get the satisfaction of coming on here and blah blah blah....i've seen this kind my entire life. end up sitting next to them at games sometimes. usually, pretty annoying people.

What? Wolfman asked for our predictions and I gave one. I'm going off what has been layed before us. We have won two road games in three years. We lost to a 1-AA team and Bernie Morris, who in my mind ... was the reason behind the three victories last year. I know I am one of the one's you are talking about. I have to say you ARE in fact spot on. On one hand I am excited for the season and hope they win! On the other, all rational says we aren't going to be very good. If I'm wrong, great...we win!! If I’m right, well at least I have the satisfaction of getting back on these boards.

I want 12-0. The fan in me says 8-4. If I take off the green classes: 3-9.

I'm impressed with the talent and speed I've seen in practices...
6-6 unless the injury bug devastates the herd, hoping for better, but I'd be ok w/ going .500 w/ a redshirt freshman QB, and an overall young team.

it honestly doesnt seem to be possible. I think our players and staff are up to a 6 or 7 win season. I just want to see how well Snyder is sinking in to his head coaching position after 3 years...and I also want to see if these players are as good as they news papers in Huntington proclaim they are...when fielded against other CUSA talent. As long as the players are for real...then even with coaching blunders...one would think that weve surely got 5 or 6 wins in us.

I am hoping and praying for the former, and I think God is getting pretty pissed with me (us, everyone) bugging him every night for Herd victories.
